Our Approach

abaci‘s Approach, now fully described in our book 'Complexity Demystified - a Guide for Practitioners', is built around the fact that, by its very nature, complexity can only be grasped and engaged with through having approriate ways-of-working. Complex phenomena and environments require the use of techniques which are context and situation specific.

Our approach is - using techniques appropriate for your context - to partner with you in order to discover the richness of your business / organisation, its space of possibilities for innovation, and options to change the way you are working effectively in your complex environment.

Applying the abaci Approach will enable you to become fit to face the challenges of real-world complex environments and situations - what we call being ‘complexity-worthy’. We can assess your current complexity-worthiness and use this analysis to suggest changes.

Our Approach is interactive and collaborative, and allows for creative contradiction. It creates ownership, initiates learning through iteration and is open and flexible. Especially so because we are unbiased and culture-sensitive.
